BRANDING 
THE BRANDING SECTION OF MY PORTFOLIO INCLUDES LOGO ARTIFACTS AND BRAND ANALYSES THAT AID IN CREATING BRAND IDENTITY FOR EACH ORGANIZATION.  THE LOGO ARTIFACTS WERE COMPLETED FOR THE UNCW GRADUATE CONFERENCE OF 2023 AND FOR MY PERSONAL BRANDING. THE UNCW CONFERENCE LOGOS WERE CREATED TO PROMOTE THE CONFERENCE BY USING SYMBOLISM TO COMMUNICATE THE THEME OF THE EVENT. BY INCLUDING THE UNCW BRAND COLORS AND COMMUNICATION STYLE THE BRANDING IS COHESIVE AND CONSISTENT WITH ALL OTHER COMMUNICATION VEHICLES PROMOTING THIS EVENT. THE RHETORICAL CONTEXT OF THESE LOGOS IS THAT THEY PROVIDE THE AUDIENCE THE ORGANIZATION'S BRAND VISION, SO THE BRAND BECOMES REMEMBERED BY ITS READERS. THROUGH ETHICAL COMMUNICATION THE LOGOS EXHIBIT INCLUSIVE, CONSISTENT MESSAGING. THE BUTTON BELOW THESE ARTIFACTS TAKES YOU TO THE PLANNED EVENT TEMPLATE FOR THE 2023 CONFERENCE. I WORKED IN A GROUP WITH OTHER COLLEAGUES TO PLAN THE VIRTUAL EVENT. I WAS ASSIGNED THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR ROLE AND TOOK THE INITIATIVE TO DIVIDE UP TASKS AMONG MY GROUP MEMBERS TO COMPLETE THE REQUIREMENTS ON TIME. WE WORKED THROUGH ANY OBSTACLES OUR TEAM FACED AND WE ALL DID AN AMAZING JOB COLLABORATING TO  MEET OUR END GOALS. BY LISTENING TO ONE ANOTHER, STEPPING IN WHERE WE COULD, AND COMMUNICATING EFFECTIVELY WE CREATED AN EVENT PLAN FOR THE CONFERENCE THAT MEETS PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS.

THE BRAND ANALYSES DISPLAY MY PROFESSIONAL UNDERSTANDING OF EVALUATING A BRAND AND PROVIDING CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK TO SUCCESSFULLY HELP THE BRAND GROW. I APPLIED IMC THEORETICAL CONCEPTS AND MODELS, SUCH AS SEMANTICS AND SEMIOTICS TO SHOWCASE WHAT MAKES EACH BRAND PERSUASIVE, CONSISTENT, AND LUCRATIVE. BY INCLUDING A SWOT ANALYSIS, I CAN PROVIDE THE BRAND AN OVERVIEW OF THEIR STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, OPPORTUNITIES, AS WELL AS ANY THREATS THEIR BRAND MAY FACE. THIS GIVES THE BRAND INSIGHT ON WHERE THEY STAND VERSUS THEIR COMPETITORS. THE BRAND ANALYSES PROVIDE EACH BRAND A COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS OF THEIR COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE, AUDIENCE PROFILE, BRAND POSITIONING, OFFERINGS, AND KEY COMMUNICATION THAT CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR OVERALL MARKETING APPROACH. THE RHETORICAL CONTEXT OF THESE FACT BASED ANALYSES IS THAT THEY PROVIDED THE BRAND AWARENESS ON HOW TO TAKE THEIR STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES AND PROVIDE BETTER COMMUNICATION TO THEIR AUDIENCE. BY ANALYZING AND UNDERSTANDING STAKEHOLDER THEORY, I CAN PERSUADE EACH ORGANIZATION TO ACT. STAKEHOLDER THEORY ARGUES THAT ORGANIZATIONS SHOULD BE MINDFUL OF CREATING VALUE FOR ALL STAKEHOLDERS, INCLUDING HOW ALL DECISIONS MAY IMPACT THE RELATIONSHIP. (LITTLEJOHN, S. W., & FOSS, K. A., 2009). I UTILIZED IMC BEST PRACTICES, INCLUDING ETHOS, PATHOS, AND LOGOS IN MY COMMUNICATIONS TO PERSUADE EACH ORGANIZATION TO TAKE ACTION BY REPAIRING THEIR WEAKNESSES AND SEIZING AREAS FOR GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES. THESE PIECES REFLECT MY ABILITY TO STEP IN AND PROVIDE MY PROFESSIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS TO HELP EACH BRAND GROW AND BECOME MORE SUCCESSFUL IN THE INDUSTRY.
